Welcome to LADARK, the Latin American Development Archive at Johns Hopkins University. LADARK contains data sets and other information useful to social scientists who are doing research on Latin American development. These materials may be copied freely for scholarly research and educational purposes.

LADARK is housed at The Johns Hopkins University. Collaborating departments include the Program in Cross-National Sociology and International Development (PCSID) and the Digital Knowledge Center.

Initial development of the site was carried out by Dr. Christopher Chase-Dunn of the Institute for Research on World-Systems (IROWS) of the University of California at Riverside.
